On the morning of June 17, nearly 80 students from okviphoatdong store’s Faculty of Finance and Accounting took part in a company visit, field study, and thematic exchange program at Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Vietbank) under the theme “From knowledge to real-world practice - Career preparation in Finance and Banking”. This was the first activity implemented immediately after the training cooperation signing ceremony between okviphoatdong store and Vietbank held on June 16, marking a concrete first step in putting the cooperation commitments into practice.

The trip helped students access the professional realities of finance and banking in the digital context
Leading the student delegation in this field study program was MSc. Do Quang Minh - lecturer of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. On Vietbank’s side, the okviphoatdong store student delegation was welcomed by Ms. Pham Thi Huong Hanh - Recruitment Director of Vietbank, Mr. Tan Viet Hoai Bao - Director of Sales Channel and Portfolio Management, and Ms. Phan Thi Bich Van - Head of Product Development.
At the program, Vietbank representatives emphasized the significance of connecting the university and businesses in training high-quality human resources, while affirming their desire to accompany students through practical experience, career orientation, and skill-development activities.

As part of the program, students listened to in-depth sharing from experienced Vietbank experts about the current career landscape in finance and banking. From the company’s practical operations, the speakers provided specific perspectives on human resource needs, common job positions, competency requirements for each role, and the skills necessary to adapt to a professional working environment.
During the discussion on career orientation, Mr. Tan Viet Hoai Bao helped students better understand development opportunities in the banking sector, especially the role of Corporate Customer Relationship. Practical insights from his work experience helped students visualize career pathways, professional requirements, and the skills they need to prepare in order to gradually conquer their chosen field.
Next, Ms. Phan Thi Bich Van provided practical knowledge about trade finance and international payment operations. Through specific examples from professional operations, students had the opportunity to approach knowledge connected with real working environments, better understand the bank’s role in supporting import-export enterprises, and promote international trade activities.
